Conflict is uncomfortable, but knowing how to navigate it before it escalates can make all the difference.
The Morgan State University Counseling Center invites students to join us for a virtual workshop focused on navigating conflict without losing yourself in the process. Whether you are dealing with a disagreement with a friend, roommate, classmate, coworker, or someone else, conflict can become uncomfortable and sometimes escalate quickly. This virtual workshop will provide practical strategies to help you recognize escalation, communicate effectively, and stay grounded when difficult conversations arise.

During this virtual workshop, students will:
Understand how and why conflicts can escalate and how heightened emotions can affect communication, relationships, and decision-making.Learn practical strategies for managing emotions, communicating needs, and navigating difficult conversations before conflict escalates.Explore ways to set healthy boundaries, stay connected to yourself during conflict, and respond without losing your voice or sense of self.Registration is required.
